Dr. LeAnne Salazar-Montoya is a dynamic educator with over two decades of experience spanning K-12 education and higher education. She is a proud first-generation scholar from rural New Mexico. LeAnne holds a Ph.D. in educational leadership and sociology from New Mexico State University and graduate degrees from the University of New Mexico and New Mexico State University. She serves as an assistant professor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in the educational leadership department, where her work focuses on leadership, policy, and equity, with a particular passion for empowering women in leadership roles.
LeAnne is an accomplished author, blending her scholarly insights with a love for storytelling to amplify voices and narratives often overlooked. She is the author of the Latinx Radiance trilogy. LeAnne is committed to inspiring the next generation of leaders, breaking down barriers, and advocating for educational equity and justice, all while celebrating her New Mexican cultural heritage.
